Heyo, My name is Arthur, but you can call me Ventura, as most people do, I would like to welcome you to my profile!!

I don't have much to say but I will be adding some things in the future

I speak English (C1-C2 Level) and Portuguese (Fluently), I'm a beginner in Spanish and Dutch so if you try to say these languages to me please have patience 

My favourite opening is e4, I also play Nf3 in some occasions, d4 and c4, only on special occasions, if you send me a daily 3 day challange I will play b4 (For fun)

I'm also a fan of Daniil Dubov (@Duhless), other chess players I really like are Krikor Sevag @GMKrikor, Aman Hambleton (@KNVB)

I plan to become a master some day. These are my plans for 2025

1. Get 1500 Rapid Rating

2. Get a FIDE Classical Rating

3. Win a Tournament

4. Beat a Master (OTB or Chess.com) ✅ (I beat a FM over the board, 2230 rated)

5. Meet a strong GM irl

I like many songs, my personal favourite is Enjoy the Silence by Depeche Mode, i like rock (I'm not emo), But I also like other songs, my favourite artist is probably Joost Klein

My favourite color is Black, but i also love Red, Purple and Blue are close behind, I don't like green and I hate Magenta

I'm colorblind, I often have problems with Green, Red, Orange etc.

My friend can't play the Caro-Kann (i just want to roast him lol) He also can't play any opening with black except the Caro-Kann even though he isn't great with It, as white he plays d4, and all the time he gets a great position, he has a 100% win rate against the Dutch (In 6 Games!), But he has a 0% win rate against the Modern Defense

I'm creating two books

• Mate in 6 (A book about different mate in 6 puzzles)

• How to play the Taimanov Sicilian (My favourite Sicilian)

I like Jermbo and Jermpop if you know what that is PLEASE SEND ME A DM, I will play with you

I also love squid game, particularly min-su is my favourite character, even though everybodyt hates him, he represents me sometimes, (Im Ambivert lol)

@guilhermeliodas - My friend irl, we go to same school, and I introduced him to chess after we played some games in the library, he is a fun dude

@TheMidnightExpress12 - Even though i don't talk that much with him he is a guy, which isn't agressive, helps a lot in combating trolls, and has a 2-0 score against me (lol)

@AmericanSpursFan - I'm also a spurs fan, but i'm not american, he is a great dude and manages to win my guess the elo, EVERY SINGLE TIME

@ypedroka - Great streamer, streams in portuguese but if you understand that, he is great, doesn't get a lot of views and if you send him a challange he will probably play you, co-founder of the InDex chess project

@im_chess_noob - Awesome personality, doesn't fight, is very polite and respectfull, great chess player and play a really strong sicilian defense, even when faced with one of my most powerfull anti-sicilian he wins almost every game

@Lilyana (@Grsiccles) - great moderator for cvc and also pretty funny when on her alt account either spams her name or a dot "."

@KingOfBrilliancy - Great dude and great moderator, preety polite when he needs to be but preety funny sometimes ngl
