I'm a software engineer with a strong background in mathematics.  I fell in love with chess at the age of 6, and I have enjoyed it ever since.  I have never obtained a "title," but that has never stopped me from enjoying the game.  

I have not played in a tournament since 1995, but when I did last play, I obtained a rating of approx. 1900 USCF. It's hard to say what my approximate strength OTB would be now. It is probably not quite as good as it used to be.
