I played a bit when I was younger; never in any chess club or tournaments, just on breaks in school. I knew the rules but no theory or openings. Then after watching a certain TV series last year I decided to start playing again, so I got an account on chess.com.

My goal for this year (2022) is to reach 1500 rating. I actually set this goal in the beginning of the year when I was rated about 1300, even if I'm only writing this now (in August). I'm already close to my goal
